If your tip leads to an arrest, you could earn up to $1,000. The Crimestoppers program started in South Carolina in 1982 so anyone could provide information on unsolved crimes. Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department says the partnership between police and citizens has been vital.
